The Beantown Rugby Football Club of Boston, MA was founded in the fall of 1976 .They are widely recognized as one of the top clubs in the country. Since 1982, the First XV has compiled an overall
record of 482 - 32. Beantown's record at the annual National Championship Tournament is also distinguished: 6 firsts, 3
seconds, 5 thirds, 1 fourth and 2 fifths. In 1995 Beantown won the inaugural Northeast Rugby Union Territorial
Championship. Beantown's presence has also dominated the Rugby East Championships, the New England
Championships, the Saranac Lake Can-Am, and the Philadelphia Pumpkinfest.
